Easy journey from Meerut to Prayagraj
Ganga Expressway starts from Bijauli village in Meerut and goes to Judapur Dandu in Prayagraj. The total length of this expressway is about 594 kilometers, which makes it the longest expressway in Uttar Pradesh. With its commencement, the distance between Western UP and Eastern UP will reduce considerably and the travel time will also reduce by several hours.
Lifeline project connecting 12 districts
This expressway connects 12 districts like Meerut, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Amroha, Sambhal, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh and Prayagraj. About 519 villages are directly connected to this, which will create new business and employment opportunities in rural and urban areas.
Expressway equipped with hi-tech facilities
Ganga Expressway has been equipped with modern facilities. Patrolling vehicles, ambulance and trauma center have been arranged here for the safety of passengers. The special thing is that this will be the first expressway in the country to provide immediate treatment facility in case of an accident, where trauma centers will be present at every distance.
Airstrip is also a special attraction
Another major feature of this expressway is the 3.5 kilometer long airstrip built near Shahjahanpur. In case of emergency, Air Force fighter planes will be able to land here, which makes this project very important strategically.
Toll rates and travel costs
Toll rates have been fixed on this expressway. The toll will be Rs 1.28 per kilometer for two-wheelers and three-wheelers, Rs 2.55 per kilometer for cars and jeeps, while Rs 8.20 per kilometer for buses and trucks. To travel by car from Meerut to Prayagraj, you will have to pay a toll of around Rs 1515.
