On the second day of the Commonwealth Games, India managed to open its account in the medal tally when Jhandu Kumar of Bihar managed to win the bronze medal in Para Powerlifting. Now all eyes are going to be on the performance of Indian athletes in the event to be held on the third day. On July 25, India will begin their campaign in 3×3 wheelchair basketball, while the competitions in boxing, swimming and artistic gymnastics will continue. If athletes from artistic gymnastics and swimming succeed in qualifying for the finals, then medals can be expected.
Eyes will be on Sachin Siwach in boxing
If we talk about the schedule of the third day of India in the Commonwealth Games 2026, then in boxing, the focus will be on Sachin Siwach who will face Keoma Al-Ahmadiyeh of Canada in the round of 32 in the men’s 60 kg event. Whereas in lawn balls, India will face Tonga in the women’s pairs sectional play. In swimming, if Dakshan Shashikumar and Aryan Nehra succeed in crossing the qualifying round in the men’s 400 meter freestyle heats, then they will be able to present their claim in the medal event in the night. Apart from this, in 3×3 wheelchair basketball, the Indian women’s team will play against Wales in the pool round Pool B.

- 3:50 pm – India vs Tonga in Women’s Pairs Sectional Play in Lawn Bowls.
- 4pm – Sachin Siwach vs Keoma Al-Ahmadiyeh in Boxing Men’s 60kg Round of 32.
- 4:19 pm – Dakshan Shashikumar and Aryan Nehra in men’s 400m freestyle heats in swimming (final at 11:30 pm, medal event if qualifying)
- 4:43 PM – India vs Wales in the Women’s Pool Round Pool B match in 3×3 wheelchair basketball.
- 7:30 pm – Putul Sonowal vs Shamir Zulkeplay in men’s singles sectional play in lawn bowls.
- 12:20 pm – Srihari Nataraj can be in the men’s 50m backstroke final in swimming if he manages to qualify.
