Former Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma has intensified his preparations before the three-match ODI series against England. Team India is going through a bad phase these days in the T20I series and now only 2 matches are left in the series. After this, a 3-match ODI series will be played, for which Rohit Sharma has reached England. Rohit Sharma has started practicing after reaching London before the scheduled time to adapt himself to the conditions in England.
After retiring from Test and T20I cricket, Rohit Sharma now plays only ODI cricket. In such a situation, to perform better in challenging conditions like England, he has decided to reach early and practice. Rohit Sharma was recently seen playing ODI series against Afghanistan on home soil. In this series, he scored 143 runs with the help of one half-century.

Rohit Sharma’s ODI record on English soil has been very excellent. Here he has scored 1428 runs in 27 innings at an excellent average of 64.90. During this period, he has scored 7 centuries and 7 half-centuries. The most important thing is that out of his 7 centuries, he scored 5 centuries during the 2019 ODI World Cup. He is the first batsman in the world to score five centuries in a single World Cup edition, which is still a record. Rohit was recently awarded the Padma Shri, one of the country’s prestigious civilian honours, by the Government of India. Rohit has scored more than 20000 runs in his international career so far. He has 50 international centuries and 112 half-centuries in his name.
The 3-match ODI series between India and England will start from July 14 in Birmingham. The second match of the series will be played in Cardiff on 16 July. The third and last ODI match will be held at Lord’s on 19 July. In all these three matches, the command of Team India will be in the hands of Shubman Gill. India’s tour of England will end with this series.
