The country’s largest IT company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has once again proved its strength by presenting excellent results for the June 2026 quarter. The company has registered good growth in profits as well as income and number of employees. Profit increased to ₹13,349 crore
According to the company, its net profit increased to Rs 13,349 crore in the June 2026 quarter. In the same quarter last year, the company had earned a profit of Rs 12,760 crore. At the same time, there was a huge jump in the total revenue of the company and it increased by about 14% to Rs 72,275 crore. The company’s income also registered an increase compared to the March quarter.
More than 9,200 people got jobs
The biggest highlight of this quarter was that TCS also made new recruitments on a large scale. Between April and June, more than 9,200 new employees were recruited in the company. With this the total number of TCS employees has increased to 5,93,798. This indicates that the company is quite optimistic about the expansion of its business and new projects in the coming times.

TCS Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director K. Krittivasan said the company has delivered a strong performance despite geopolitical tensions and global economic challenges. According to him, the company’s strategy, customer confidence and focus on new technologies are continuously driving growth.
Slight decline in shares, but confidence in future remains intact
However, despite excellent quarterly results, TCS shares closed at Rs 2,047.75 in the stock market on Thursday with a slight decline of 0.52%. Despite this, experts believe that strong financial performance, rising earnings and large-scale recruitment show that TCS remains among the strongest companies in the Indian IT industry and is expected to perform better in the times to come.
