Bollywood singer Jubin Nautiyal’s father Ramsharan joins Congress, has contested elections from BJP.

Senior BJP leader in Uttarakhand Ramsharan Nautiyal joined Congress on Monday. Nautiyal took membership of the party in the presence of Congress’ Uttarakhand in-charge Kumari Shailja and State Congress Committee President Ganesh Godiyal. Ramsharan Nautiyal is the father of famous Bollywood singer Jubin Nautiyal. Nautiyal has been in Congress before also. He left Congress and joined BJP about 12 years ago.

Had resigned from BJP a few days ago

Let us tell you that Ramsharan Nautiyal was keeping distance from BJP for some time, recently he had resigned from the party and there was talk of going to Congress. He remained in BJP for a long time. He said that the reason for leaving BJP was that he did not get respect in the party. There is talk of him contesting elections from Vikasnagar or Sahaspur assembly constituency.

‘Homecoming of an old party colleague’

Welcoming Nautiyal to Congress, Kumari Shailaja said that an old party colleague has returned home. He said, “Our old friend Ramsharan Nautiyal ji felt suffocated in BJP. He felt dissatisfied with the environment and work there. Ramsharan Nautiyal ji is joining the Congress party again. I welcome them.

State Congress Committee President also welcomed Nautiyal into the party and expressed hope that his arrival will strengthen the Congress in Uttarakhand. He said, “Today Ramsharan Nautiyal ji has joined the Congress Party. On this occasion, I welcome him to the Congress party. We hope that the presence of Nautiyal ji will give strength to the Congress party.

Contested elections from Chakrata in 2022

Ramsharan Nautiyal started his political career from Congress. In 2014, he left Congress and joined BJP. Nautiyal had contested the 2022 elections on a BJP ticket from Chakrata assembly constituency in Uttarakhand, although he had to face defeat. He has also been the District Panchayat President of Dehradun. Now, the politics of Chakrata area of ​​Dehradun has heated up after he left BJP and joined Congress just before the assembly elections.

Earlier, Aam Aadmi Party’s chief national spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar had joined the Congress. He took membership of Congress in the presence of senior Congress leader Rajiv Shukla.
