Jharkhand: YouTuber Shivdhan Lohar, resident of Ranchi, Jharkhand, was allegedly murdered during robbery in Sundergarh district of Odisha. The most shocking thing in this case was that the main accused, who was running away with the car of the deceased after the incident, became a victim of a road accident and died on the spot. The police have started investigating this entire matter.
What is the whole matter?
According to the information, Shivdhan Lohar along with his friend Anmol Malik had come to Sundergarh Government Medical College and Hospital to get a relative admitted. Both were returning to Ranchi in separate vehicles late on Monday night. Anmol Malik was leading in a Scorpio SUV, while Shivdhan Lohar was following him in his Alto car.
Meanwhile, three miscreants first tried to stop Anmol Malik’s Scorpio. But Anmol managed to escape from there by increasing the speed of the car. After this the accused stopped Shivdhan Lohar’s Alto car and kidnapped him.
After this, the accused took Shivdhan to Dudka area of Hemgiri police station area, about 80 kilometers away. An attempt was made to rob them there. Meanwhile, the miscreants attacked Shivdhan with a sharp weapon and killed him. After the murder, his body was thrown near the railway overbridge.
After the incident, the accused fled towards Jharsuguda with Shivdhan’s Alto car, mobile phone and money purse, but due to high speed near Bhasma, the car lost control and went off the road. The car overturned after leaving the road. In this accident, the main accused Shubhendu died on the spot.
Another accused seriously injured
Another accused in this case is seriously injured and is undergoing treatment at the government hospital in Sundergarh. Meanwhile, a minor involved in this incident has been detained.
As soon as information about the incident was received, Sundargarh Superintendent of Police Amritpal Kaur, sub-divisional police officer and scientific investigation team reached the spot. The police have inspected the incident site and started investigating the entire matter.
Police statement came out
Sundergarh SP Amritpal Kaur said, “Preliminary investigation has revealed that the motive behind the murder was robbery. The aim of the accused was to rob the car. During the robbery, they got into an altercation with Shivdhan Lohar, after which they killed him. Complainant Anmol Malik was driving ahead in a Scorpio vehicle, while Shivdhan Lohar was coming behind him in an Alto car. Both were returning from the government hospital in Sundergarh. Meanwhile, three accused hit both the vehicles. Anmol Malik managed to escape from there by increasing the speed of his car. During the robbery attempt, he killed Shivdhan Lohar and fled with the car, resulting in the death of one of the accused.”
Preliminary investigation has revealed that a case of murder had already been registered against the deceased main accused Shubhendu. However, the police is still verifying this information.
