New Delhi: Today Delhi Police held a press conference regarding Delhi Protest and explained why permission was not given for CJP’s protest. In the press conference, DCP and PRO of Delhi Police Neha Yadav presented the side of Delhi Police and also released the video of CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke, in which policemen are seen offering help to him.

What was seen in Abhijeet Dipke’s video?

DCP Neha Yadav of Delhi Police said, “As soon as Delhi Police received the news of the demise of the grandmother of ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke, the police officers themselves reached out to Abhijeet Dipke to give this sad news and provide all possible help. The officers, with full sensitivity, asked Abhijeet if he

Need help with a flight, phone call or anything else? The officers also asked if he wanted to talk to his parents, but Abhijeet Dipke refused.”

CJP has presented a wrong image of Delhi Police: Delhi Police

Delhi Police clearly said, “This fact has been wrongly portrayed in CJP’s press conference. CJP presented a wrong image of Delhi Police. As soon as the news of Abhijeet’s grandmother’s demise reached Delhi Police, they were contacted. Efforts were made to give them flights, calls, whatever they needed.”

What did Delhi Police say about the protest in the press conference?

DCP PRO Neha Yadav said, “When CJP was given permission last time, they did not follow the law and the mob gathered by them resorted to heavy stone pelting, arson, violence and also caused huge damage to government properties. Keeping these matters in mind and the current security and law and order situation, permission was not given for the proposed protest demonstration at Jantar Mantar.”

DCP PRO Neha Yadav said, “For the security of Delhi and to protect the life and property of citizens, Section 163 BNSS was imposed in many areas of Delhi. Under which no gathering or demonstration of any kind was allowed. Therefore, Abhijeet Dipke and his two associates were detained on October 10 in view of the call for protest given by Cockroach Janata Party at Jantar Mantar because the said demonstration was not allowed.”

Earlier news had come out that Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka have been released by the court but the magistrate has given them conditional release.
