Election Commission case reaches SC, petition filed on SIR decision taken without alleged consent of 2 election commissioners

The matter of dispute related to the Election Commission has now reached the Supreme Court. This case pertains to the decision of the SIR taken without the alleged consent of the 2 election commissioners and a petition has been filed in the Supreme Court for hearing on it. In fact, the Indian Election Commission is currently trapped in the maze of the country’s politics. A media report claimed that everything is not going well within the Election Commission itself. When news of differences of opinion emerged between Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and the other two Election Commissioners regarding SIR, the opposition made it a big issue.

Congress and opposition preparing for big demonstration across the country

Let us tell you that today the opposition is going to create ruckus against the Chief Election Commissioner in the entire country. Congress is going to protest on the streets today in all the states of the country including Delhi. After this, instructions have been given to all the district committees to march to the Collectorate from 28th September. Congress will protest outside the Election Commission office in Delhi, while Congress will protest in front of the Election Commission offices in the states also. In Bihar, RJD will protest at the district headquarters today, while AISA is going to protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.

Congress will bring impeachment motion against Gyanesh Kumar

It is noteworthy that Congress is now barricading itself against the Chief Election Commissioner. Congress will bring notice of impeachment motion against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar in both houses of Parliament. Congress has also contacted opposition parties on this issue. According to Congress sources, it will be introduced within the next two weeks. Right now Congress is preparing the draft of the proposal. Notice of motion will be given in both the houses within a few days. It is not necessary for the proceedings of the session to be in progress to give notice of the motion.

Rahul Gandhi has already demanded the resignation of Gyanesh Kumar.

Earlier, while holding a press conference on the Election Commission issue last Monday, Rahul Gandhi had demanded the resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar. Rahul Gandhi had said that the answer has been found as to why anti-incumbency has no effect against BJP. How is BJP winning elections continuously?
