New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a high-level meeting with secretaries of all departments of the Government of India at ‘Seva Tirtha’ on Tuesday. The objective of this meeting was to accelerate governance reforms, strengthen the agenda of self-reliant India and improve coordination between ministries to deliver better outcomes for citizens.

During the meeting, the Secretaries gave information about the major initiatives being taken by their respective ministries and departments. He outlined the steps being taken to translate the Prime Minister’s vision into measurable results. Also discussed were sector-specific challenges and future strategies to further improve governance and public service delivery.

PM Modi gave these instructions to the secretaries

Prime Minister Modi emphasized on increasing mutual coordination by eliminating departmental boundaries. He advised extensive use of Gatishakti platform for planning and better coordination, so that coordination between various departments and evidence-based decision making process can be made more effective. The Prime Minister also asked the Secretaries to focus specifically on the real and direct impact of government schemes on people’s lives, so that the benefits of the schemes can effectively reach the maximum number of people.

Prime Minister Modi also asked the secretaries to focus on the concrete impact of government initiatives on people’s lives. He emphasized that policies and programs should ultimately be aimed at bringing meaningful improvements in the everyday lives of citizens and ensuring that the benefits of governance reach the widest possible range of society.

PM Modi laid emphasis on these things

The central government is pursuing its long-term reform agenda. Its objective is to make India a developed nation by 2047, which will be the year of completion of 100 years of the country’s independence. PM Modi has repeatedly emphasized that the next decade will play an important role in achieving this vision. He stressed the need for continuous reforms in all sectors to improve governance, strengthen the economy and create better opportunities for citizens.
