India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reviewed the progress of major projects underway by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in a meeting held on Monday. After this meeting, many major updates have come to light regarding the delay in delivery of India’s indigenous fighter aircraft Tejas MK1A fighter aircraft, Russia’s Sukhoi SU-57 fighter aircraft and India’s indigenous 5th generation fighter aircraft AMCA. Along with this, there has also been talk of imposing penalty on Hindustan Aeronautics Limited i.e. HAL.
According to the information revealed, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has taken a complete report regarding LCA Tejas MK1A fighter aircraft in an important meeting held on Monday. According to the information that came out from the meeting, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has prepared 18 ships of Tejas MK1A fighter aircraft. Till now, it has come to light that Tejas will have 6 engines. Let us tell you that the engine of Tejas aircraft is imported from America. Its engine is manufactured by American company General Electric.
According to Defense Ministry sources, it was said in Rajnath Singh’s meeting that by the end of this year we should have around 18-24 LCA Tejas Mark 1A fighter aircraft ready. Along with this, it has also been said that penalty will be imposed on Hindustan Aeronautics Limited for delay in handing over these aircraft.
