The specialty of democracy is that they are directly accountable to the public. We have an independent media here and you too have an environment of vibrant media and intensive investigation. We are accountable to our voters, you also have a strong opposition and media. For these reasons our interests naturally come closer to each other.

Rubio said that both countries have had to face terrorism directly or indirectly because of the global terrorist network. It is necessary for international trade to continue without interruption. Nationalization of any international waterway by any country should not be accepted as a normal state of affairs.
