First step- To make this mehendi, you have to take about 100 grams of jaggery. Crush the jaggery and cut it into small pieces. Now you will have to take a tin box i.e. an iron box. Spread the jaggery at the bottom of the box. Make a little space in the middle of the jaggery and place a small bowl or an earthen lamp in the middle. Now put 2 spoons of cloves around the jaggery. You have to use edible cloves, which are used in making spices. Put 1 spoon of kumkum or powdered vermillion in the bowl kept.
Second step- Now you have to close the box. For this, place some vessel on top of the tin so that the entire tin gets colored, for this it is best to use a pot. Whatever pot or bowl you keep, fill it with water. Now cover it well, so that steam does not come out. For this, sprinkle wet flour on the edges of the box and water vessel.
Third step- Place the pan on the gas and turn on the gas on very slow flame. When the water becomes hot and steam starts forming, keep it for about half an hour. When the time is over, take the box off the gas without stirring it. Now when it cools down, gently remove the water vessel from the top of the box. You will see that a lot of water must have collected in the bowl kept inside. When it cools down, take it out and mix it.
Fourth step- A liquid containing cloves with jaggery, vermillion and steam will be ready. Whose color is as strong as henna. It will look like Alta. You can apply any beautiful mehndi design or alta design with this. To apply it on your hands, you can use a stick, broth or any other thing as per your design.
