Famous chef Pankaj Bhadauria has told an easy kitchen trick, with the help of which a stainless steel pan can work almost like non-stick. By first heating the pan properly, then checking the temperature by adding a few drops of water and then adding oil and cooking, the chances of food sticking are greatly reduced. In this article, know the correct way to use stainless steel utensils, Chef Pankaj Bhadauria’s easy tip, what are the mistakes due to which food sticks and by keeping what things in mind, you can do better cooking every time.

Follow these tips:

  • Heat the pan: Let your stainless steel pan heat over medium heat for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add drops of water: To check whether the pan is hot enough, sprinkle a few drops of water in it. If the water evaporates, the pan is not ready. If water droplets appear to be dancing (dancing balls), the pan is completely ready.
  • Apply oil: Now add some cooking oil (like olive oil or ghee) to the pan and spread it well over the entire surface. By heating the pan to the right temperature and using the right method of adding oil, you can use steel cookware almost like non-stick.
