Know what is the correct way to prepare rice?

The right way to make Basmati rice

First trick- If you want to make Basmati rice nutritious, long and aromatic, then how the rice is cooked is more important than the quality of the rice. First of all, soak the rice in water for 20–30 minutes. When cooked by soaking it in water, rice swells well and becomes longer. Such rice cooks evenly and smells better.

Second trick- Some people wash rice by scrubbing it a lot. Whereas this should not be done. After soaking the rice in water, wash the rice very gently with clean water 1-2 times. Washing too much can reduce the aroma and some of the nutrients in the rice.

Third trick- Now it is important to have the right amount of water to cook rice. If you have taken 1 cup of rice then about 1.5 to 2 cups of water is required for it. If the rice is well soaked then 1.5 cups of water is also sufficient. Adding too much water can make the rice sticky and the aroma also becomes less.

Fourth trick- Now the most important step to enhance the aroma of rice is to use 1-2 spoons of ghee in it while cooking the rice. If you are making rice in the cooker then first add 1-2 spoons of ghee and add the rice in it. If you like cumin rice then add some cumin along with ghee. Now cook the rice on medium flame for 2 whistles.

Fifth trick- By the way, by cooking rice on very low flame, the grains of rice do not break and swell and become bigger after being properly steamed. Cook the rice on low flame for 1 whistle. Do not make the mistake of opening the cooker immediately. When the steam comes out completely, mix the rice once. Adding ghee to rice increases both taste and aroma.

Sixth trick-If you are making pulao or biriyani, then you can use spices like bay leaves, green cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, cumin to make the rice aromatic. With this, the aroma of rice will spread throughout the house and the rice grains will become fragrant.
