New Delhi: Elon Musk’s company Tesla, one of the world’s most talked about industrialists, has released a video of its new Roadster car, which has caught people’s attention. Claims to fly like a rocket, speed of 97 KM in one second!

Elon Musk has claimed about the Roadster that thrusters used in rockets have been installed in it. These are such devices, which create thrust by expelling gas under high pressure. Tesla has claimed that this car can reach a speed of about 97 kilometers per hour in less than a second. According to the company, production of the Roadster will start in 2028. However, questions still remain regarding the car’s performance and claims. Especially experts have expressed doubts about its capabilities like flying in the air, turning over and then landing safely on the ground.

Auto expert Tutu Dhawan said, ‘Good video for entertainment’

Automobile expert Tutu Dhawan raised questions on Tesla’s video and said that it may be good for entertainment and advertising, but it does not seem possible to do so in real life. According to him, showing a car flying like a rocket does not prove that it can actually do so. Dhawan said,

‘The way the cars are shown in the video passing over a truck and standing straight after doing some acrobatics, it is difficult to happen in reality. Cars are not acrobatic artists that can be turned upside down like this. It seems that this video has been made mainly for advertising purposes.

Amidst the questions raised regarding the cars of Elon Musk’s company Tesla, the role of his other company Starlink is also in discussion. Controversies have arisen in the past regarding Starlink’s services and their use during the war in Ukraine. Critics have alleged that changes in the availability or speed of satellite internet service amid Ukraine’s military needs could impact its military capabilities. In this matter, Musk reportedly said that control over the service is not in his hands, but with the Pentagon.

Questions regarding Tesla and Musk’s companies in India
