Apple’s first foldable screen phone iPhone Duo can be pre-ordered in India from today i.e. October 16. The sale of this phone will start on October 23. This book style foldable iPhone of Apple was launched along with iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in the Apple Event held last month. The company had not yet made the phone available for sale anywhere.

iPhone Duo can be purchased in India in two color options – Night Sky and Star White. It has been introduced in four storage variants – 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB. Its starting price is Rs 2,99,900. Whereas, the price of its other variants is Rs 3,24,900, Rs 3,74,900 and Rs 4,49,900 respectively. An instant bank discount of Rs 7,000 is being offered on the purchase of the phone.
Features of iPhone Duo
Apple’s first foldable iPhone has a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR display. Apart from this, the phone has a 5.4 inch cover display. The display of the phone supports 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 3000 nits. In this new foldable iPhone, the company has redesigned iOS 27, so that it can be used with a foldable panel. Dual-display system has been used in it for flexible view. Hands-free experience will be available in the new foldable iPhone. Also, it will be equipped with advanced Siri AI.
Ceramic shield has been provided to protect the display of Apple’s first foldable iPhone. Like the iPhone 18 Pro series, this foldable phone also comes with the new A20 Pro chip, which works on 2nm technology. In this, the company has given dual neural engine, which enables 32 cores during multitasking.
Dual camera setup is available in the back of iPhone Duo. It has a 48MP fusion camera. Apart from this, a 48MP telephoto camera will be available, which supports 2x optical zoom. It has a 12MP center stage camera for selfies and video calling. The company claims that the battery of this foldable iPhone gives 44 hours of backup in a single charge. At the same time, after charging for 5 minutes, it can be used for 5 hours.
