In most of the houses, people are worried about what to prepare for breakfast every day. People like such things for breakfast which are tasty, easy to prepare and also healthy. If you are also looking for a similar breakfast recipe, then you can make this tasty breakfast from moong dal. For this, there will be no need to soak the moong dal nor will it be prepared by frying it. You can prepare this breakfast easily. Quickly note down the recipe for tasty moong dal breakfast.

Tasty Moong Dal Breakfast Recipe

First step- Take 1 cup of green moong dal which is approximately equal to a cup of tea. Now wash the lentils thoroughly with clean water and put them in a strainer so that the water drains out. Now put the pulses in a small jar of mixer and grind them. The pulses have to be ground slightly coarsely. Put the pulses in a bowl and add 1 big cup of hot water i.e. after boiling water and soak it. There should be up to 1 inch of water above the dal. Cover the dal and keep it aside for 10 minutes, so that the water gets absorbed and the dal swells.

Second step- If you check the lentils, you will see that they have swollen. Mix it and add salt as per taste. Add some ground black pepper, 2-3 finely chopped green chillies, 8 finely chopped curry leaves and mix. Now add half cup semolina in it. If you want, you can also add vegetables as per taste, but drain the water from the vegetables first. Apart from this, add 1 tablespoon thick curd. Take a milk plate or any mesh plate. Grease it with oil. You can also cook it in a steamer. If we are making it in a pan, then add 1 glass of water in the pan and heat it well.

Third step- Add finely chopped coriander to the prepared batter. Mix it and then add one-fourth teaspoon of baking soda. This makes breakfast very soft. Prepare it in a round shape like Vada and make a hole in the middle. Prepare the entire breakfast like this. Place it on a steamer or a mesh plate and keep it in the pan. Cover and steam it for 10-12 minutes. When the top layer sinks in the steam or becomes slightly hard, then understand that this snack is ready. Take it out when it cools down.

Fourth step- Now add 1 tablespoon oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, long chopped green chillies, some coconut shavings and 2 spoons of sesame seeds. Also add 1 teaspoon chili flakes and 1 teaspoon pavbhaji masala or Maggi masala. Add 1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder for colour. Now add half a cup of water in it so that all the spices stick well on the breakfast. Add some salt to it and add the prepared moong dal snack to it and mix. Fry it for a while and then add finely chopped coriander and lemon to it.

Healthy, tasty and spicy breakfast full of taste is ready. You can eat it as is without frying. You will like the taste of this breakfast very much. You can enjoy it with chutney.
