Soybean and Chana Dal Cutlet Recipe
First step- To make this breakfast, you have to take 1 cup of chana dal. Wash the lentils and soak them in water for 2 hours. Now we have to take one and a half cup of soybean paste. Soak it in hot water for 10-15 minutes. Now squeeze it well and take out the soya bean and wash it thoroughly with cold water 1-2 times.
Second step- Now take a pan and put some oil or butter in it. Now add drained soybean seeds into it. Shallow fry it on medium flame until it becomes crispy. Now take out the soybeans and add chana dal in the same pan and add half a cup of water and cook the dal until it becomes soft. After 5 minutes the dal will be lightly cooked and the water will also reduce.
Third step- Remove the water from the lentils and mash it lightly. Now crush half teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon whole coriander in the dal, add half teaspoon asafoetida, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, green coriander, green chilli and finely chopped coriander leaves and black pepper powder.
Fourth step- Cut the large pieces of fried soybean into small pieces with a knife. Mix it in the lentil mixture. Now add half cup of Sattu powder for binding. Now prepare it by adding some water to it. If the shape like tikki or cutlet is not formed properly then add some more sattu in it. Make all the cutlets and prepare them.
Fifth step- Add some oil in the pan and shallow fry the cutlets. The thinner you keep the cutlets, the better they will fry. When the cutlets are golden fried on both sides, take them out and enjoy them with any favorite chutney.
