In September 2025, the filmmakers started shooting and shared pictures from the puja ceremony. The inauguration ceremony was marked by traditional lamp lighting and puja. Director Jeethu Joseph and producer Antony Perumbavoor also joined Mohanlal at the event. In the pictures, Mohanlal is seen holding the clapboard of the film, which was followed by the traditional lamp lighting and puja along with the cast and crew of the film. The Dadasaheb Phalke award-winning actor plays the character of Georgekutty in the ‘Drishyam’ franchise. The first film of this franchise was released in 2013. The ‘Drishyam’ franchise follows the struggle of Georgekutty and his family, who come under suspicion when the son of an Inspector General of Police (IG) goes missing.
