Gold cheaper by Rs 800 and silver by Rs 2,000
According to the All India Bullion Association, on Friday, the price of gold of 99.9 percent purity fell by Rs 800 to Rs 1,45,500 per 10 grams in Delhi’s bullion market. Whereas, on Thursday, the price of gold closed at Rs 1,46,300 per 10 grams. Let us tell you that last month on June 25, the price of gold was Rs 1,45,300 per 10 grams. Apart from gold, the price of silver also fell by Rs 2,000 on Friday to Rs 2,22,500 per kg. Whereas, on Thursday, the price of silver closed at Rs 2,24,500 per kg.
The decline started again after a pause of 2 sessions
Traders said that after a pause of two sessions, gold prices started falling once again and with this it fell to the lowest level in three weeks. Whereas, the trend of continuous decline in silver continues. In international markets, spot gold on Friday rose by $ 15.42, or 0.39 percent, to $ 3,992 an ounce. However, silver declined to $ 55.37 an ounce.
Gold price closed with gains on MCX
On MCX on Friday, gold for delivery on August 5 closed at Rs 1,41,006.00 per 10 grams, up 0.47 per cent (Rs 658). Let us tell you that during trading yesterday, the price of gold ranged from an intraday high of Rs 1,41,052 per 10 grams to an intraday low of Rs 1,39,801 per 10 grams. Similarly, yesterday, silver for delivery on September 4 closed at Rs 2,16,449.00 per kg with a marginal gain of 0.02 percent (Rs 46). During trading yesterday, the price of silver ranged from a high of Rs 2,17,234.00 to a low of Rs 2,13,781.00 per kg.
