Tata Group airline Air India Express has announced that it has resumed its flight services to all destinations in West Asia. The airline’s entire West Asia network is now back to normal with flights to Oman and Kuwait also resuming. According to Air India Express, flights on the Kozhikode-Salalah (Oman) route have resumed from July 2. Kozhikode-Kuwait service will resume from July 3, while flight operations on the Bengaluru-Kuwait route will start from July 4. In the coming days, the number of flights on these routes will also be gradually increased so that passengers can get better facilities.
Services restored on entire network of West Asia
The airline said that after the situation in the region became normal, it has now resumed flight operations on all its destinations in West Asia. This will provide relief to thousands of passengers whose travel plans were affected for some time. Currently, Air India Express operates about 780 flights every week connecting 18 cities of India with various countries of West Asia. This provides great convenience to people traveling for job, business and family reasons.
Earlier services were stopped due to security reasons
In view of the increasing military tension and security concerns in West Asia, Air India Express had temporarily stopped its services on some routes including Oman, Kuwait some time ago. After the improvement in the situation, the company has now decided to restore all services in a phased manner.
Strong network with more than 100 aircraft
Air India Express currently has a fleet of more than 100 aircraft. The airline operates more than 500 flights every day connecting 43 domestic and 16 international destinations. The company says that in the coming time, the number of flights will also be increased according to the increase in demand on West Asia routes. This is expected to provide great relief to Indian travelers as well as NRIs living in Gulf countries.
