The administration has installed these boards for the convenience of the workers, so that they can get information about the increase in salary made by the government. Let us tell you that on Monday, workers protested at various places in Gautam Buddha Nagar district of UP for increase in salary. Under the guise of protests, many anarchist elements had indulged in massive vandalism and arson at many places in Noida. In view of the uproar in Noida, the UP government had immediately issued instructions regarding increase in the salaries of the workers.
Yogi Adityanath had approved the increase in salary on Monday.
Gautam Buddha Nagar District Magistrate Medha Rupam had told that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had approved the increase in the salary of different categories of laborers late on Monday night. The statement said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has appealed to the employers to ensure timely payment of salaries, proper payment of overtime, weekly leave, bonus and social security benefits. Along with this, the government has emphasized on maintaining safe working conditions for women workers. The highest increase has been made in the skilled category and in Gautam Buddha Nagar and Ghaziabad this increase is up to 21 percent. The revised salaries will be considered effective from April 1, 2026.
Laborers working in Noida and Ghaziabad will get more salary
Now unskilled workers in Gautam Buddha Nagar and Ghaziabad will get Rs 13,690 every month, which was earlier Rs 11,313. Additionally, semi-skilled workers will now get Rs 15,059 and skilled workers will get Rs 16,868. The revised monthly wage rates for other municipal corporation areas have been fixed at Rs 13,006 for unskilled workers, Rs 14,306 for semi-skilled and Rs 16,025 for skilled workers, the statement said. Apart from this, in the rest of the districts, unskilled workers will get Rs 12,356 per month, semi-skilled workers will get Rs 13,591 and skilled workers will get Rs 15,224.
