Oppo Reno 16 Pro, Oppo Reno 16 have been launched. Both these mid-budget phones of the Chinese company are upgrades of Oppo Reno 15 Pro and Oppo Reno 15 launched last year. The company has made major upgrades in the camera and hardware of both these phones. These have cameras up to 200MP and powerful batteries up to 7000mAh. Also, the phone has 16GB RAM and triple rear camera system. Both these phones have been launched with MediaTek’s latest chipset.
Price of Oppo Reno 16 Pro, Oppo Reno 16
Reno 16 has been launched in 5 storage variants – 12GB RAM + 256GB, 12GB RAM + 512GB, 16GB RAM + 256GB, 16GB RAM + 512GB and 16GB RAM + 1TB. The starting price of Reno 16 is CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs 49,000). The other four variants of Reno 16 are priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs 56,000), CNY 3,899 (approximately Rs 55,000), CNY 4,299 (approximately Rs 60,000) and CNY 4,899 (approximately Rs 69,000) respectively.

Reno 16 Pro has been launched in three storage variants – 12GB RAM + 256GB, 12GB RAM + 512GB and 16GB RAM + 512GB. Its price starts from CNY 4,499 (approximately Rs 63,000). The other two variants of Reno 16 Pro are priced at CNY 4,899 (approximately Rs 69,000) and CNY 5,299 (approximately Rs 74,000) respectively. Both these phones will be made available for sale in the Chinese market from May 29. These phones can be introduced in India in the next half.

Features of Oppo Reno 16 Pro, Reno 16
Both these phones of Oppo work on ColorOS 16 operating system based on the latest Android 16. Talking about the display of both these phones, the Pro model has a 6.78 inch 1.5K AMOLED display, which supports 120Hz refresh rate. At the same time, its standard model comes with a 6.32 inch OLED display panel. Its display also supports 120Hz refresh rate.
MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset has been given in Reno 16 Pro. At the same time, Dimensity 8550 Super chipset is available in Reno 16. Both these phones support 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. These have IP69K rating, due to which the phone will not get damaged even if it is immersed in water or gets wet.
200MP camera
Talking about the camera, triple camera setup is available in Reno 16 Pro and Reno 16. It has a 200MP main camera, which works on OIS i.e. Optical Image Stabilization feature. Apart from this, two more 50MP cameras are provided in the back of both the phones, which include ultra wide and telephoto sensors. It will have a 50MP camera for selfie and video calling.
Reno 16 Pro of this series has a 7,000mAh battery. At the same time, Reno 16 will have a 6,700mAh battery. Both these phones support 80W wired fast charging. 50W wireless charging feature will also be available in the Pro model. For connectivity, both these phones will have WiFi, Bluetooth, 5G as well as NFC. In-display fingerprint sensor is supported.
