Sahibzada Farhan played half-century innings in the first two matches.

28 year old Sahibzada Farhan, who took over the command of Pakistan team in place of Salman Ali Aga, has shown excellent performance as captain and opener in this series. He made his debut as full-time captain on 9 October in Rawalpindi. In his very first match, he played a stormy innings of 89 runs and gave a spectacular victory to Pakistan. After this, in the second match played on the same ground in Rawalpindi, he batted brilliantly and scored 73 runs in 44 balls and played an important role in taking the team’s score beyond 200.

Farhan showed his strength with the bat even in the last match

Talking about the third and last match, the rest of Pakistan’s batting faltered completely, here also captain Sahibzada Farhan took charge alone. The team had a very bad start in this match, the star of the previous match Maaz Sadaqat could not even open his account and Fakhar Zaman was out after scoring only 12 runs. Apart from this, other players like Hasan Nawaz, Khawaja Nafe, Mohammad Imran and Abdul Samad were also complete flops. Despite wickets falling continuously from one end, Farhan, playing responsibly, played a brilliant inning of 76 runs with the help of 7 fours and 3 sixes in 47 balls. Pakistan team managed to score 168 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs.

Sri Lanka achieved the target easily
