A two-match Test series is to be played between the West Indies and Pakistan teams from July 25, which is also a part of the fourth edition of the World Test Championship. West Indies have included 26-year-old left-arm spin bowler Joshua Bishop in the Test for the first time, while Kirk McKenzie has returned. Fast bowler Alzarri Joseph is not a part of this Test series, having declared himself unavailable for selection due to personal reasons.

If we talk about Joshua Bishop, who was included in the Windies Test team for the first time, he has been performing brilliantly in domestic cricket for a long time. Bishop has taken a total of 119 wickets in 25 first-class matches at an impressive average of 23.90. Bishop has managed to take the most wickets in the West Indies Championship in the last three seasons, with a total of 91 wickets in his account. Kirk McKenzie, who returned to the squad in this Test series against Pakistan, has been included in place of John Campbell, who was ruled out of the ODI series against New Zealand due to a hamstring strain in his left leg. The first match of the two-match Test series will be played at the Brian Lara Stadium in Taroba from 25th July, while the second Test will be played at the Port of Spain ground from 6th August.
