Both of them have had a great performance in the IPL so far in which they have become the first uncapped pair who have managed to add 1000 or more runs in IPL history.
Achievement achieved in the match against Mumbai Indians
When the Punjab Kings team came to play against Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2026 at the Dharamshala stadium, a partnership of 50 runs was seen between Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya for the first wicket. Meanwhile, when both of them completed the figure of 24 runs, with that they were successful in completing 1000 runs as a partnership in IPL. Before the uncapped pair of Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya, no other uncapped pair had managed to complete the 1000-run mark in IPL history. So far, both have played 28 innings together in IPL in which they have scored 1026 runs at an average of 36.64 and have also managed to make two century and five half-century partnerships.
Priyansh Arya becomes only the second uncapped Indian player in this case
Priyansh Arya has now become only the second uncapped player in the history of IPL to score 350 or more runs in his first two seasons. While Priyansh Arya had scored 475 runs while making his debut in the 2025 IPL season, so far in the IPL 2026 season, he has scored 364 runs in 11 innings at an average of 33.09. Before Priyansh Arya, this feat was done by Ambati Rayudu when he scored 356 and 395 runs in his two initial IPL seasons of 2010 and 2011.
