Vaibhav Suryavanshi is in the news right now. After a match of the Tri Series being played in Sri Lanka, Vaibhav and the Sri Lankan players came face to face. There was even a scuffle on the field. After this it was believed that some action could be taken against Vaibhav, but now BCCI has made it clear that all this does not come under the jurisdiction of them and ICC. Along with this, BCCI has also decided that when they go on Ireland and England tour, their parents will also be sent with them.

There was an altercation between Vaibhav and Sri Lankan players after the India A vs Sri Lanka A match.

The teams of India A and Sri Lanka A were facing each other in the tri-series match being played in Sri Lanka. When the 50 over match ended, it remained a tie. After this, there was a super over and in this the Indian team had to face defeat. Whatever happened after this cannot be called right. Sri Lankan players were continuously commenting on Vaibhav. When Vaibhav also turned back and replied, the matter escalated into a scuffle. However, the players and umpire did not come and calmed down the matter.

No action will be taken by BCCI

Meanwhile, talk of action against Vaibhav was coming to the fore. No punishment has been announced yet in this regard. Now BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia has said that this tri-series comes under the jurisdiction of Sri Lanka Cricket Board. BCCI and ICC have nothing to do with this. Along with this, he refused to take any kind of action against Vaibhav. Saikia clearly said that there are a lot of talks going on that BCCI is thinking of taking some action, but BCCI is not an authority. In this matter, the actual decision is taken by the match referee and umpire, so they will also take a decision on this. He also said that whatever happened on the field was part of the game. BCCI has no role in this.

Vaibhav’s parents will accompany him on Ireland and England tour

BCCI Secretary also said that Vaibhav has been selected in India’s T20 team for Ireland and England tour. His parents will also accompany him on this tour. Saikia said that Vaibhav is only 15 years old. The rest of the players are much older than him. So that they do not come into any kind of uncomfortable situation, this decision has been taken. The expenses of this entire tour will be borne by BCCI.

Vaibhav’s bat has not yet played in the tri series

Vaibhav is currently playing the tri series. However, till now his bat has not played in the way for which he is known and recognized. In the four ODI matches played so far, he has been able to score only 117 runs. He has scored runs at a strike rate of 153.94. Now they will get another chance to play in the final of this tournament, it has to be seen how they perform in it.
