Meanwhile, a high level meeting was held late Thursday evening at the residence of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan regarding the re-examination of NEET (UG). Many top officials were present in this meeting.

According to sources, a detailed discussion regarding NEET (UG) examination was again held in the meeting. Secretary (Higher Education) Vineet Joshi, Secretary (School Education) Sanjay Kumar, NTA Director General Abhishek Singh, CBSE Chairman and Commissioners of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) along with other senior officials were present in the meeting held at the residence of the Education Minister.
Further strategy prepared
This meeting at the residence of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan came after allegations of examination-related irregularities by NTA. After the cancellation of the examination to be held on May 3, an important meeting was organized at the residence of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. In this meeting, the examination process, security arrangements and further strategy were discussed with senior officials.
5 accused in CBI custody for 7 days
A Delhi court on Thursday sent five accused arrested in the NEET-UG question paper leak case to 7-day CBI custody for questioning. The court also commented that these allegations indicate that an ‘organized gang’ was involved in leaking confidential question papers of the examination and circulating them for financial gain.
Special judge for CBI cases Ajay Gupta accepted the federal agency’s plea seeking seven-day custodial interrogation of Yash Yadav, Mangilal Khatik, Vikas Biwal, Dinesh Biwal and Shubham Madhukar Khairnar.
