The condition of the Indian women’s cricket team is bad. T20 World Cup 2026 is round the corner and the team is not able to get back on the winning track. The T20 World Cup will be organized by the ICC in June, before which the Indian team toured South Africa, but faced a shameful defeat there. Meanwhile, before the World Cup, the team played three more T20 matches, please note its schedule, after that the team will be seen directly in the World Cup.
Indian team won only one match out of five against South Africa
The five T20 International match series played between the women’s teams of India and South Africa was such that it is better not to be remembered. Team India had to face defeat in four out of five matches and could win only one. However, there is another chance before the World Cup for the team to regain its winning streak and form. It remains to be seen how much benefit the team can take from this series.
Three T20 International matches will be held from late May to early June
Under the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur, the Indian team will be on a tour of England from May to June, where there will be three T20 International matches and one Test. The series will begin on May 28, when India and England women’s teams will clash in the first T20 match in Chelmsford. The second match of the series will be held in Bristol on 30 May. After this, the third and last match will be played in Taunton on 2 June. After this the series will end here. The one Test match that is to be held will take place in July i.e. after the T20 World Cup.

The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 is going to start from June 12. The match will be played between England and Sri Lanka on the very first day. India’s first match will be on June 14, when it will face Pakistan. The World Cup final will be held on July 5. That means a new champion will be found on this day.
