PM Modi has made a big announcement amid the protests by students against the NEET paper leak. He issued a video message saying that the government is bringing a bill to stop paper leaks. It will be presented in the House on Monday and efforts will be made to pass it in the House as soon as possible. Before this, the Government of India has taken many important steps to stop paper leaks. PM Modi announced the creation of a fast track court on Thursday itself and by the evening the fast track court was created. Along with this, Education Secretary Vineet Joshi was removed.
PM Modi said in his video message, “Friends, I know that paper leak is not a trivial issue. It is very painful for lakhs of students and their parents and that is why many steps have been taken in the last two and a half months since the paper leak incident. The culprits have been caught. They are lying in jail. Our most important responsibility was that the students should not waste a year. It was very important to conduct the examinations immediately. The government has now used its full power to conduct 22 exams in the shortest possible time. Arrangements were made for the examination of lakhs of students and the result came on 19th. There are happy reports of students passing there, and hence today I had given instructions to the departments for fast track court and the draft will be discussed in the cabinet tomorrow. It will be finalized after the suggestions of cabinet colleagues and the second week of Parliament is starting from Monday, then efforts will be made to pass that bill in the House as soon as possible.”
Announcement of nationwide demonstration on 24th July
Cockroach Janata Party has announced demonstrations across the country. Aam Aadmi Party will also join this protest. Demonstrations are already taking place in Patna, Assam cities including Delhi and Mumbai. At the same time, now CJP has announced protests in every district of the country.
