Incessant rains in Bharmour area of ​​Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh are now proving fatal. On Monday afternoon, the car HP 39 G 4990 of the devotees of Dharamshala who were returning after visiting the ancient religious place of Banni Mata, suddenly huge stones fell from the hill, about 2 kilometers away from Aura Scissor Mode Dhakog. In this tragic accident, 14-year-old Dikshita, daughter of Navneet, resident of Dharamshala, died, while two other people were slightly injured.

There were a total of five people in the car. They have also suffered injuries. After the incident, there was an uproar in Dikshita’s family and the family members were in a bad condition, crying.

There was a sudden landslide and a stone fell directly on the car.

According to the information received from Bharmour police station, the devotees traveling in car number HP-39G-4990 were returning to Dharamshala after visiting Banimata temple. At around 1:30 pm suddenly near Aura Kainchi Mod, about 2 kilometers from Dhakag landslide It happened and big stones from the hill fell directly on the car.

Dikshita (14 years), daughter Navneet, resident of Dharamshala was seriously injured in the accident. In the presence of local people and Panchayat head Tunda Purushottam Kumar, he was immediately brought to Civil Hospital Bharmour, but despite the efforts of the doctors, his life could not be saved. At the same time, Babita and another person traveling in the car also got minor injuries, who were discharged after first aid at Civil Hospital Bharmour.

Pradhan sent the family members back safely in his car

Gram Panchayat Tunda head Purushottam Kumar also immediately reached the spot and along with the local people, he played an important role in evacuating the devotees trapped in the damaged vehicle. With his help, the injured were immediately taken to Civil Hospital Bharmour, due to which treatment could start on time. Purushottam Kumar told that this tragic accident happened due to sudden falling of stones from the hill on the vehicle of the devotees who had come to the temple. He told that after the incident, he made arrangements to send back the affected family members safely through his personal vehicle.

Due to continuous rains, incidents of landslides are increasing in Bharmour area. In such a situation, the Bharmour administration has appealed to the people and devotees to exercise extreme caution on the hilly routes during bad weather and avoid unnecessary travel.
