At the time of the Defense Minister’s speech, a false narrative was being spread rapidly on social media and in some sections of the media that Indian Air Force pilots were killed in Operation Sindoor. According to the government, this claim was completely false and was being promoted with the aim of undermining the success of the operation and demoralizing the public.

Apart from this, necessary concessions and assistance in education, health and other facilities are being provided to their families and dependents.
