Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman posted on X, ‘Real GDP is estimated to grow by 7.7 percent in the financial year 2025-26. There is an estimated increase of 7.9 percent in real gross value added in the financial year 2025-26. ‘Real GDP and real gross value added are estimated to grow by 7.8% and 7.9% respectively in the fourth quarter of FY 2025-26.’

Nirmala Sitharaman further wrote in her post, ‘Specifically, manufacturing, trade, repair, hotel, transport, communication and broadcasting related services, storage and financial, real estate and professional services sectors have registered double-digit growth in FY 2025-26 at both constant and current prices.
