A man beat up a policeman in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh. The video of assault on a policeman in Gondpur industrial area of Paonta Sahib is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In the video, a man is seen holding a policeman’s uniform and slapping and punching him.
What is the whole matter?
It is alleged that the person who assaulted Farhan is a resident of Saharanpur and is working as a security contractor in a private company. In the viral video, a scuffle is seen between the accused and the policeman after a heated argument. According to the information, policeman Rajesh Chhinta is posted in Dhaula Kuan battalion. On Wednesday afternoon, he was going for lunch while on duty in the strong room located at Taruwala. Meanwhile, he had an altercation with the accused in the Gondpur industrial area, which soon turned into a fight.
After the video of the incident surfaced, it has become a topic of discussion in the area.
The policeman narrated his ordeal
A complaint has been given by the policeman at Paonta Sahib police station. The policeman told that he was going for duty on scooty after having dinner on Wednesday afternoon. On the way, as he was going on a scooter near Gondpur, a car was going at a high speed and the driver was listening to his mobile phone. The driver came in front of the scooter and hit it. After this, when he asked the driver to drive the car properly, the person in the car beat him up and snatched his bag.
Police took immediate action
At the same time, after the video of the incident surfaced, the police immediately started investigating the matter and took immediate action and arrested the accused Farhan, who was involved in hooliganism with the police constable.
