Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President DK Shivakumar will take oath as the new Chief Minister of Karnataka on Wednesday at 4:05 pm at the Lok Bhavan complex. After being formally elected leader of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) on Saturday, Shivakumar is now set to take charge of the state. This change has happened after the resignation of senior leader Siddaramaiah from the post of Chief Minister, who on Tuesday was appointed a member of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) by the party high command, giving him a big responsibility.
These leaders along with DK Shivakumar can take oath of secrecy for the post of minister in the swearing-in ceremony to be held on Wednesday.
