Amravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday compared YSR Congress Party leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy with the mythological character ‘Kans’ of Mahabharata. Naidu has accused him of disrupting the marriage of his own niece (sister’s daughter) at Yelahanka Palace.
What allegations did Chandrababu Naidu make against Jagan?
Naidu alleged that during a property dispute, Jagan had killed his mother and sister, Y.S. Sharmila was treated unfairly. He also accused Jagan of lacking moral values.
Apart from this, Naidu also questioned Jagan’s “decision” under which he had stopped Sharmila from using the family’s ‘Yelahanka Palace’ for her daughter’s wedding. Naidu emphasized that Sharmila also gets a share in the property. It is noteworthy that Sharmila is the younger sister of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Referring to reports, Naidu said Jagan had refused permission to conduct the marriage of his younger sister Sharmila Reddy’s daughter, Anjali Reddy, on November 25 at the family bungalow in Yelahanka, Bengaluru.
Naidu said that Jagan neither has moral values nor family values. There are no political values either. He has been misbehaving with his mother and sister over a property dispute, while the sister also has a stake in the fact that Jagan refused permission for her daughter’s function at the Yelahanka Palace. According to Naidu, Jagan is behaving like Kansa of Mahabharata by obstructing his own niece’s marriage.
Naidu called Jagan’s mentality dangerous
CM Naidu has described Jagan’s mentality as dangerous and said that his attitude is destructive. He also alleged that the YSRCP was even ready to let the state burn to fulfill its political agenda. He claimed that mercenaries were called from Punjab to intimidate people. Now this statement of Naidu has become a topic of discussion in the politics of Andhra Pradesh.
