The painful news of the accident is coming from Tehri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. On Thursday, a vehicle fell into a ditch about 300 meters deep on the Nail-Koti Colony road in the district. 8 people have died in this accident while 2 people are said to be injured. According to the information, all the victims of the accident were residents of Theoldhar village of Ghansali area and were returning after a funeral in Haridwar. Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed grief over this accident.

How did the accident happen?

According to Tehri district administration, the accident occurred when a vehicle lost control near Nile on Chamba-Koti road in Chamba block and fell into a ditch about 300 meters deep. The injured have been taken to DH Baurari Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment and their condition is said to be critical. As soon as information about this accident was received, teams of SDRF, Health Department and Police reached the spot and started relief and rescue operation on the spot.

DM gave information about the accident

On the Chamba-Koti Road bus accident in Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, DM Nitika Khandelwal said, “In the initial investigation, it seems that the driver was sleeping due to which the incident happened. We have taken out all the bodies. Post-mortem is going on. The family members have been informed.” 8 people have died and 2 are injured in the accident.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed grief over the accident in Tehri Garhwal. He said – “Extremely sad news was received about the accident of a vehicle on Nail-Koti Colony road under Chamba area of ​​Tehri Garhwal district. I pray to God to grant peace to the souls of those who died in the accident and give strength to the bereaved families to bear this immense suffering. Instructions have been given to the district administration for proper treatment of the injured. I pray to Baba Kedar for the recovery of the injured.”
