Odisha A very shocking case has come to light from Jajpur district. The punishment given to children in a government school here surprised everyone. After this incident the headmaster of the school has been suspended. According to the information, this case is of Saruabilli Upper Primary School and the incident is said to have happened on April 19. It is alleged that to punish the children, headmaster Basudev Dehuri asked them to put an itchy wild leaf inside their pants. On the instructions of the headmaster, two children brought plants and put them in each other’s clothes, due to which they started feeling severe itching, burning and discomfort.
There was a fight between two children
However, a different aspect has also come to light in this entire matter. According to Sukinda Block Education Officer Narayan Das, there was a fight between two children. In this fight, one child rubbed an itchy leaf on the other’s body, which caused a lot of trouble to him. When the victim child approached the headmaster with his complaint, he allegedly knowingly or unknowingly told him that if this had happened to him, he should do the same to another child. After this, the other child also did the same, due to which he also suffered and the matter escalated.
Headmaster suspended due to opposition from family members
Information about the incident came to light when the children told the whole story to their parents. Angry parents reached the school, protested against the headmaster and demanded strict action. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the Block Education Officer of Sukinda conducted a preliminary investigation. Based on the investigation, the headmaster has been currently suspended. The Block Education Officer says that a detailed investigation of the entire matter is going on and after the completion of the investigation, further action will be taken as per the rules.
