In an interview given to Siddharth Kannan, he said, ‘Om Puri was a tremendous actor. There was no other great actor like him, but that is a different matter. He became someone’s husband and after becoming a husband, he betrayed a woman. This is where everything went wrong and I am the brother of the same woman.

Annu Kapoor talked about her sister Seema and said that when Seema came to know that Om Puri was having an affair with another woman, they got divorced within a few months of their marriage. Years later, when Om’s health started deteriorating, he came back to his sister. Recalling that period, Annu Kapoor said that even today he felt very angry remembering all this. He said, ‘He would have gone away 10 years ago had my sister taken care of him. He came back when his body became weak and fragile. I was angry and sad with my sister.
Om Puri ruined Annu Kapoor’s sister’s life
Despite the past, Annu said that now there is no bitterness in his mind. He said, ‘Today Om Puri Saheb is not among us, his son is there… Even today I pray to God for his son and his ex-wife Nandita. I have no enmity with anyone, but I regret that my sister Seema Kapoor’s life has been ruined, she has no support.
