On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti on April 2, producer Namit Malhotra introduced Ranbir Kapoor to the world as Lord Ram. The film was praised for its visual effects and the mystery built around the characters. Yash plays the role of Ravana in the film, followed by Sai Pallavi, who plays the role of Goddess Sita. Ravi Dubey plays the role of Laxman in the film. While keen-eyed fans noticed every detail of the Ramayan teaser, we saw something different – Yash stepping out of his Pushpak Vimana as Ravana.
Pushpak Viman was seen in the teaser
At exactly 2 minutes 14 seconds in the Ramayan teaser, you can see Yash as Ravana heading towards his Pushpak Vimana. A few seconds later, a top shot of the flying chariot is shown. If you look carefully, you will see Yash coming out of it in the form of Ravana. This moment lasts for only a few seconds and then the scene changes.

After the first look of Ramayana was released, Namit Malhotra wrote a note expressing his gratitude for the response he received on his film. Thousands of artistes and associates who are working diligently are excited and energetic and ready to give their best in every department. Ramayan will release globally on Diwali 2026, while its second part is already under production and is planned to release on Diwali 2027.
