Gold situation from Delhi to Chennai

There is a difference in the price of gold due to taxes and other charges in different cities of the country. Today in Delhi, Lucknow and Jaipur, 24 carat gold is being sold at the price of ₹ 1,54,090 per ten grams. At the same time, gold is most expensive in the South Indian city of Chennai, where the price of 24 carat has reached ₹ 1,55,140. In metros like Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru, the price remains at the level of ₹ 1,53,940.

the shine of silver faded

Unlike gold, the silver market was sluggish today. After a day’s stability, silver in Delhi today became cheaper by ₹ 100 per kg to ₹ 2,54,900. Earlier on April 13, there was a big fall of ₹ 5000 in silver prices. At present, the price of silver in Chennai remains the highest at ₹ 2,65,100 per kg. Experts believe that silver is currently under pressure for profit booking.

Why are prices fluctuating?

According to market experts, the current movement of gold and silver largely depends on the ongoing tension between Iran and America. Recently, gold has received support from the news of reopening of dialogue between the two countries. But due to uncertainty regarding the war, there is volatility in the market.
