How did this whole controversy start?

According to a report by Cricbuzz, when Indian player Vaibhav Suryavanshi and his fellow batsman Suryansh Shedge were returning after the match, Sri Lankan player Vishen Halambay tried to provoke them. Halambe told Suryavanshi that the match is over, now go to your home. Hearing this, Suryavanshi got very angry. After this, senior Sri Lankan player Niroshan Dickwella intervened and pacified the fight between the two. Match referee Pradeep Jayapragash has fined Halambay for this action. However, it is not yet clear whether any action has been taken against Suryavanshi or not.
