Virat Kohli now plays only ODI cricket for India, as he has retired from T20I and Test cricket. He played his last ODI in January during the home series against New Zealand, which India lost 2-1. In that series, Kohli scored the highest score of 240 runs for India. There his average was 80 and strike rate was 105.26. This excellent form of Kohli continued in IPL also.
Virat Kohli’s performance in IPL 2026 was excellent
In IPL 2026, Virat Kohli scored 675 runs at an average of 56.25 and an excellent strike rate of 165.84. This season he played an important role in helping the team win the title. Virat Kohli also played a match-winning inning of unbeaten 75 runs for RCB in the final of IPL 2026. With this, his team RCB became the third team to win the IPL title twice consecutively. Earlier, RCB had won its first title in IPL 2025.
Jaiswal has played only 4 ODIs so far
Talking about Yashasvi Jaiswal, he is currently playing the only Test match against Afghanistan. After this he will join the ODI team. Jaiswal made his ODI debut against England in February 2025. He has played only four ODI matches so far. The first match of the ODI series between India and Afghanistan will be played on June 13 in Dharamshala. After this, the second match will be held on June 17 in Lucknow and the third match will be held on June 20 in Chennai.
