Under the captaincy of Pat Cummins, in the IPL 2026 season, Sunrisers Hyderabad team managed to make its place in the playoffs but could not finish in the top-2. Now it will face the fourth team to qualify for the playoffs in the eliminator match to be held on May 27 at Mullanpur Stadium, which is yet to be decided.
