New Delhi: Controversy has arisen over Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement regarding PM Modi. Bharatiya Janata Party is protesting across the country today against Kharge’s objectionable remarks. In fact, in a program organized in Patna on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bihar’s first Chief Minister Shri Krishna Singh, Kharge said that ‘Modi’s father will also go’. He made this comment in anger in response to a person asking during the program that PM Modi will go somewhere. Now BJP has made it an issue.

BJP leaders have demanded an unconditional apology from Congress President Kharge. BJP says that political differences should not be transformed into personal insults. Today BJP workers across the country are going to take to the streets against the Congress President. BJP will protest at every district headquarters today. In Patna, BJP will take out a protest march from the state office to Income Tax Golambar and burn the effigy.

BJP said that Kharge is using such language, which was earlier considered to be associated with goons and miscreants. Calling it a sign of Congress’s ‘ideological bankruptcy’, the party said that Congress has now started looking like a ‘mafia gang’ instead of a political party. BJP President Nitin Naveen, reacting to this statement, said that the people of the country are closely watching this kind of ‘indecent politics’ and will give an appropriate reply to it when the time comes. Meanwhile, another problem has arisen for Kharge. A complaint has been lodged against him in a police station in Patna.
