Monsoon is completely kind in large parts of the country. Heavy rains and storms continue from Delhi to Mumbai. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a high alert regarding heavy rain, thunderstorms and thunderstorms in 15 states of the country in the next few hours. According to the Meteorological Department, strong winds can blow at a speed of 70 kilometers per hour during this period. People have been asked to stay in homes and remain alert.

Alert issued for these 15 states

The states where the Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rain and storm include Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Kerala. Apart from this, the situation remains serious in Gujarat also.

Weather condition in these states

1. Heavy rains and thunderstorms will continue in the country’s capital Delhi and surrounding areas from July 8 to 10. Today the maximum temperature is expected to be 33 degrees and minimum 25 degrees. There may be a slight reduction in rain activities from July 11.
2. There is a warning of torrential rain in many districts of Uttar Pradesh including Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi and Muzaffarnagar. There may be extremely heavy rain at some places in Western UP, due to which the temperature will remain below normal.
3. There is an alert of thunderstorm and rain with winds blowing at a speed of 70 km/hour in many districts of Bihar including Patna, Muzaffarpur and Gaya. The maximum temperature of Patna is likely to be 33 degrees.
4. ‘Yellow’ alert has been issued today in Mumbai, Maharashtra, while ‘Orange’ alert has been issued in Thane.
5. At the same time, ‘Red Alert’ has been issued in view of the danger of floods and waterlogging in many parts of Gujarat.
6. There is a possibility of extremely heavy rain in many districts of Rajasthan including Jaipur, Udaipur and Jodhpur on July 8 and 9. The pace of rain will slow down here from July 10.
7. There is ‘Orange Alert’ in many districts of West Bengal including Kolkata and Darjeeling. Rivers like Teesta and Torsa are in spate, posing a threat of flood in low-lying areas.
