However, later a total of six terrorists were killed by the security forces. After this attack, a statement has come out from India’s side. India has advised Pakistan regarding this terrorist attack that they should look inside themselves. Along with this, India said that Pakistan should take action against the terrorist infrastructure present on its soil. They should stop resorting to terrorism as government policy

Foreign Ministry replied

Responding to media queries about Pakistan’s allegations, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, “We have seen reports of Pakistan’s baseless allegations against India over the recent incident in Karachi. We completely reject them. Instead of pointing fingers at others, it would be better for Pakistan to look inward, take concrete action against the terrorist infrastructure present on its soil and give up its habit of resorting to terrorism as a government policy.”

Six terrorists killed

Actually, four security personnel were killed in this terrorist attack in Karachi. Six terrorists were killed, while one attacker was caught alive. According to security sources, terrorists of Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, a terrorist organization associated with the banned organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), have carried out this incident. The incident occurred around 8:30 pm on Saturday night in the densely populated Gulistan-e-Johar area of ​​Karachi. Terrorists attacked the Bhittai wing headquarters of Sindh Rangers located here.

Jamaat-ul-Ahrar took responsibility

The terrorists first carried out the blasts, after which people got scared. Later, while firing, the attackers entered inside the headquarters of Sindh Rangers. After this, there was a fierce encounter between the security forces and the terrorists for about 90 minutes. During this time, the security forces had closed the entire campus and the surrounding roads. Jamaat-ul-Ahrar took responsibility for this attack. This organization is an extremist faction of TTP, which is mainly active in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the north-western province of Pakistan. It has been attacking civilians, security forces and government officials.

Tension increased between Pakistan and Afghanistan

This attack has taken place at a time when tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan has increased. Pakistan’s military and intelligence agencies have been continuously accusing the Taliban government of Afghanistan of providing safe havens to TTP and carrying out cross-border attacks. In response, Pakistan Army has also taken action several times against alleged bases and training camps of TTP inside Afghanistan. Let us tell you that this is the first major terrorist attack in Karachi since October 2024. Earlier, two Chinese engineers were killed in a suicide blast near Karachi Airport. Responsibility for this incident was claimed by the banned organization Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).
