According to the information revealed, a person was hit by a speeding car while crossing NH-66 in Udupi. The collision was so strong that the person flew in the air for a while. According to the information, this entire incident took place on Sunday evening in Kota circle area of Udupi district. Here, a 45-year-old man who was trying to cross National Highway-66 was hit hard by a speeding car. In this accident, a person died after being hit by a car. This incident was captured in CCTV camera and is going viral on social media. The deceased has been identified as Satish Acharya (45), who was a resident of Aruru, Brahmavara. Regarding the accident, police have said that Satish was crossing the highway when a car going from Kundapura towards Mangaluru hit him.
Doctors declared him dead
In the video going viral, it can be seen that the collision was so strong that Satish Acharya fell on the road due to which he suffered serious injuries on his head and legs. After the accident, with the help of local people, he was taken to a private hospital in Koteshwar, but on reaching the hospital, doctors declared him dead. Satish Acharya had gone to Amriteshwari temple in Kota and was crossing the highway to go towards Hadikere, when this tragic accident happened.

After receiving information about this accident which took place in Kota area of Udupi district, Kota Police Station officials visited the spot. According to the information, the police has investigated the matter and registered a case. The police is investigating further regarding this accident.
