According to IMD’s warning, severe heat wave will continue in many parts of the country including Delhi in the coming days. Warning of severe heat and humid weather

Many areas of Delhi, Punjab, Chandigarh and Haryana may experience mild to severe heat wave on May 21 and again during May 24 to 26. Whereas, in some areas of Vidarbha between 21st and 23rd May; There is a possibility of heat wave to severe heat wave in Western UP during 20 to 26 May, in Eastern UP during 20 to 23 May and in Punjab on 22 and 23 May.

Also, heat wave to severe heat wave conditions may occur in MP between May 21 and 25. Apart from this, heat wave is forecast in Chhattisgarh between 21 to 24 May, in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Odisha during 21 to 24 May, in Bihar between 21 to 23 May and in Rajasthan between 21 to 26 May. At the same time, heat wave may occur in Uttarakhand on May 21.

The weather may also remain hot at night in Uttar Pradesh on 21st and 22nd May, in Odisha on 21st to 24th May and in Vidarbha on 21st May. Also, hot and humid weather is likely over Tamil Nadu, Karaikal and Puducherry during May 21 to 23 and over Gangetic plains West Bengal and Odisha from May 21 to 24.

Rain forecast here amid scorching heat

Heat wave to severe heat wave conditions may occur in North West and Central India this week and in Eastern India during the next 5 days. At the same time, heavy rain is also forecast at isolated places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands this week and in North-East and adjacent Eastern India from May 21 to 26.

Alert regarding maximum temperature

The maximum temperature of Maharashtra may drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius on May 21. Then there will be no major change between 22nd to 26th May. Also, there is no possibility of any major change in the maximum temperatures over the rest of India till May 26.
