New Delhi: Counting of votes is taking place today for the assembly elections held in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Kerala and Puducherry. In the figures released so far, BJP has performed brilliantly and Congress has been able to improve its position only in Kerala. Meanwhile, a big statement from BJP’s national spokesperson Ajay Alok has come out. He said, “I will just say one line – Mamta is gone, Gogoi is gone, Stalinism is gone, now Modi’s nationalism will break in India.”
What happened in the assembly elections of five states?
Till the time of writing the news, in the West Bengal assembly elections, BJP was leading on 191 seats and TMC was reduced to 97 seats. In Assam, BJP took lead on 99 seats and Congress was reduced to 24. Are ahead on other 3 seats.
In Kerala, UDF made a huge lead and is ahead on 101 seats. LDF was reduced to 36 seats and BJP alliance took lead on 3 seats.
The new party TVK did wonders in Tamil Nadu and emerged as the largest party. Till now she is leading on 109 seats. DMK is ahead on 61 seats and AIDMK is ahead on 64 seats.
So far AINRC has won 9 seats in Puducherry. BJP has won 2 seats and is leading on one. IND has won one seat and is ahead on 2 seats. INC won on one seat. LJK is leading on one seat.
There is enthusiasm among BJP workers due to the excellent performance of BJP in West Bengal and Assam and preparations are being made for celebration at BJP headquarters.
